Piano stools

Where can I get a good piano stool? Have found a few websites but I've never even looked at piano stools before so am a bit clueless. I'd like one with a reasonable amount of storage and probably adjustable as I'm a shortie. Anyone bought one recently that they can recommend, and if so, where did you get it from? Equally, are there any makes/styles that I should avoid?

TIA!

My favourites are the huge long ones, so you can sit two people side-by-side to play 'two at a piano' duets, and also for an adult to sit next to a child for teaching. Though this type do tend not to be adjustable.

I'll watch this thread too - we've got a Clavinova, so we only have the rather minging Yamaha stool that came with it - I love a "real" one - storage would be great. I'll have a google too.

Hi, gingernut. Just found these adjustable ones on ebay - it seems like a reasonable price - we have one similar to this which is high enough for DS2 who is just on 5' tall. That cost about £40 (may have been £45) from a neighbour so £55 + carriage for the new adjustable one sounds very good (and you can choose your seat colour!).
