Toddler seat for pram????

Does anyone know where to buy a toddler seat to go on a pram (carry cot or pushchair). I am about to have baby number 2 and want to avoid buying a double buggy and I never really liked baby bjorn. Have seen some in the park on other people's prams but they seem to have been bought with the pram. My pram is a Britax 3 in one. I cant believe there isnt a toddler seat that would fit the carry cot unit but am struggling to find anyone that makes them. Any ideas?

There's a product called Seat2go which sounds like it's what you want. (Or slightly different one - www.litaf.com/safari.htm)

Sorry, don't know about stockists in the UK though - I've seen it in shops in France, but not here. Manufacturers might be able to put you in touch with the UK distributors though.

The kiddicare.com site has a pram seat (in the tandems section), but says its unsuitable for 2in1/combination prams - not much help, I know, but perhaps if you contacted them they might be able to put you in touch with the right people.

Thanks very much, both of these look like good fair-weather options.
Am I right in thinking that the only way of transporting two small children in the rain is in a double buggy with raincover?

You can get a raincover to fit pushchairs which have a detachable toddler seat (if you have a look at the www.babycare-direct.com pushchairs for 2 section, you will see what I mean - the Brio Combo and Skippy Joey), but whether this would fit over your Britax with a toddler seat (if you can get one) is another thing!

I'm in a similar situation to yourself, and I dread the thought of a double pushchair. I'm seriously considering the two pushchairs mentioned above, which can both then be used as a single pushchair when necessary. HTH

If you got something like this you could presumably have two seperate strollers, each with its own rain cover, but use just one of them for times when the weather looked ok.
