GrooveisintheHeart · 13/06/2007 23:19

go strauight to 2 wheels.

Busybean · 13/06/2007 23:20

go straight to 2 wheels, have just bought a little metel scooter in argos for ds1- 3 yrs for £10

brimfull · 13/06/2007 23:21

apparently asda have them for £10 but I wouldn't stake my life on it

GrooveisintheHeart · 13/06/2007 23:26

honestly 2wheels are fine for 4yr olds. dd2 is very clumsey walking, but a speed demon o na 2wheeled scooter.

gemmiegoatlegs · 13/06/2007 23:28

any particular type groove is in the heart?

Argos have a tri scooter with flashing lights!
£19.99
It's the one my daughter wants for her 4th birthday.

GrooveisintheHeart · 13/06/2007 23:29

think i got hers from woolies about 2 years ago on offer(was planning ahead), she really took to it just after xmas, and now cant part her from it. dd1 has a better one, £29 from toysrus, and it appears to be sturdier and less noisey than the woolies one.

dd2 scooter will be repalced with a new one for her 5th birthday.

that one has very small wheels a girl at school has a rather complex one, with all springs etc on it as well.

gemmiegoatlegs · 13/06/2007 23:41

i like the look of the one hatrick posted. can you buy it in any shops? we are going away next week and will not be in for deliveries.

gemmiegoatlegs - my dd has the scooter that hatrick linked to. It is really great, but be warned that it can tip over the front(prob. as it has 2 wheels at the front) if ridden over uneven pavements. It is fine in the park and has mainly been fine on the pavements apart for 2-3 times. I would go for -
Look at www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID= MMToysTop&ProductID=44239&language=en-GB

It also has three wheels(but two at the back) and folds, unlike the other one.
