3 wheeler buggy for active town person - britax vigour 3 perhaps? any ideas?

Looking for a three wheeler buggy that I can be really active with (not necessarily running, but speed walking), but I live in London. Don't have to use it on public transport, but would be good if it fits somehow into boot of a Micra (!)

Have been looking at Britax trekker and Britax vigour 3 - like the latter best. Does anyone have experience of either?

I am overwhelmed with choice - any help gratefully received!!

Also does anyone know of a place near greater london you can go and test buggies out - all the places I've been to have a very small selection. thanks!

I have the vigour 3 & really like it - the best of all my buggies. It's light for a 3 wheeler & very mannouverable. It's also quite short (most 3 wheelers are very long!) so not too bad round the shops - I haven't felt the need to switch to my old maclaren yet!

It does take up a lot of room in the boot, though - not sure if it would fit in a micra. The chassis used to fit in my saxo (minus the parcel shelf) but the carrycot had to go on the back seat. I could just about squeeze the chassis + seat unit (for when baby is bit older) in the boot too.

DS is now in the seat unit & I love the fact he still faces me. It reclines from bolt upright to practically horizontal (and any position inbetween). The shopping basket is pretty decent & easy to access.

Main gripe - the frame scratches very easily - mine is scratched to bits & it's only 6 months old! Also, the seat unit is quite small - not sure how long DS will fit in it. Other than that, I love it!

HTH, Iona x

Forgot to say, Daniels dept store in Windsor has the biggest selection of buggies I've ever seen, although I actually testdrove my vigour at Mothercare in Reading.
