DS2 in buggy DS1 is 4 and DD is 2...thinking about getting a man friendly sling for DH to use when out for walks and DS1 or DD suffers from tired legs.Have got a Macpac which is great but too bulky to cart around all the time especially when also have buggy for DS2.

Would need to be...

fairly cheap
compact
easy and quick to use
not ruin his street cred

a friend of mine is having a major baby carrier clearout. you may be able to pick up something here:
warning: she has a major sling addiction. i know that she isn't selling up her whole stash yet.

she knows practically everything you need to know about baby carriers and will help you make a decision.

i am only posting this link to MN as i have known her for almost 25 yrs and has never let me down.

My sling which have used since birth I use for both dd and ds on my back. Its a long piece of cloth that is a really strong weave, I bought it but you could easily make one for a fraction of the price. Plenty of site out there for how to make a sling...

then not only could be a hippie carrying father
but a super sewing caterpillar!

I have a board on the back of my pram so dd can stand on that, tis another option.
