My granny used to have loads of these for gardening and housework. I would love one does anyone know where I might purchase such a thing?

ebay?

Are your sure you're not turning into Martha Stewart?

paulaplumpbottom · 04/06/2007 16:44

Thats the sort of thing, although i'd rather buy them new.

They are so practical. I just want something I can throw over my clothes quickly. I don't think I've ever seen Martha wear one.

US site

if you sew there are loads of patterns out there - similar thread in the same vein here

MrsBadger · 04/06/2007 16:46

Fio that woman looks like her DH has just told her that he's going to do all of the housework for a week. PMSL>

paulaplumpbottom · 04/06/2007 17:03

LOL Mrs. Badger is right I'm looking for something like that but it in a pretty fabric of course. My dd is always getting things on the back of my trousers which is why my regular aprons aren't always great

pointydog · 04/06/2007 17:08

I'm no expert on aprons (snort) but surely ppb is after something Cath Kidston - pretty, outrageously expensive but for basic tasks of drudge

pointydog · 04/06/2007 17:10

[http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/ProductList.aspx?cid=ApronsPinnies&pcidl=Homeware%2cKitchen&language=en-GB] too aprony?

paulaplumpbottom · 04/06/2007 17:10

Thaqt would do pointy. I love my Cath Kidston Aprons but they don't cover the back

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 04/06/2007 17:10

that was my first thought but the Kidston ones don't cover your bottom

pointydog · 04/06/2007 17:11

what happened to me link

pointydog · 04/06/2007 17:13

oh, wrap around style wanted?

Miss Pricey is missing a trick there then

paulaplumpbottom · 04/06/2007 17:17

I'm suprised she doesn't do one, very retro

still not what you want, I fear.

I don't know why I am enjoying looking for aprons thoguh. Must mean I should be making the tea

paulaplumpbottom · 04/06/2007 17:21
