We have an Outback with 4 burners and one hot plate and it's fab! We use it all the time, easy to clean and use.

I love it, I love it, I love it and having had a garden full of next door's blardy smoke (all over my washing) I'd highly recommend them. Can't remember make or anything useful mind you, we have griddle and a grill, I like having the flexibility and being able to separate different meats.

We've got a Camping Gaz one. Fairly basic with 2 burners, hood and bars to each side to hold tools. On wheels and has a raincover , and has withstood being kept outside all year in extremes of weather for 5 years so far.

BIL's BBQ is an Outback. Not sure which model. It is really good though. He saved money on the selling price too by buying it from a website - will e-mail him to let me know which website.

this is what we have but without the hood I'm sure you can do clever things with the hood though!

BBQ - this is the Outback BBQ my BIL has: Outback-Excel-300.

This one and the one they have is with a side burner for onions etc. But you can get without and is slightly cheaper. They find doing onions etc though is useful outside. He does say that the website is currently charging about £140 with a cover and regulator thrown in. A good bargain really. They paid about £15 less, but we bought it later in the year when they are selling them off.

You will need to get the gas separate and this you can get from most hardware shops and some garages, BP etc. Like Robert Dyas or a local one.

You get two kinds of gas, Butane and Propane ? Propane is the better and is often known as Patio Gas, This type of gas works in cold as well as warm weather whereas the Butane doesn?t work very good in cold weather. Both types of gas will need a regulator, and they are different for both types of bottles. You will need a Propane regulator for Patio Gas/Propane. They sell on web sites and sometimes they are thrown in free. You also get them at hardware shops that sell gas. BIL'd advise is buy gas locally, and not from web sites. As you can swop the bottles much easier when you run out, when its local.

A big bottle costs about £50, but half of that is the deposit and it lasts you about 2 years even if you use every week like they do. So good value.

Note ? MOST BBQ?S ARE SELF ASSEMBLEY WHEN THEY ARRIVE. It took BIL about an hour to put it together.
