I know people have been asking about them and I just thought I'd say they're great. Dd1 (4) went straight on to a proper bike without stabilisiers after about 3 gos on the Puky bike and dd2 (2) is starting to glide on her Puky after about 5 or 6 gos so that I can see she'll be ready for a proper bike in another month or so. By the way I'm selling the bigger Puky for £30 in the For Sale section. It's red. Can pick up from Gtr Machester or may deliver depending on area.

It's true they really do get the hang of 'proper' cycling quickly if they've started with a pedal free bike. DS1 and DS2 had bikes with stabilisers and cycled at nearly 7. DS3 had wooden pedal less bike last summer and last weekend progressed straight to pedalling bike without stabilisers. He's already pretty good and he's only just turned 5. And think of all the back breaking hand-on-saddle supporting that's saved!
And I'm not selling one! DD at 2.3 is already getting the hang of the pedal free bike - but her legs are a bit short!

Agree - DS1 has got his balance quickly and we'll try him on the proper bike soon. BTW his is nothing fancy, just an old bike with the pedals and chain removed.
