What automatic cars out there creep?

I bought a semi auto car and it had a automated clutch but it didn't creep forward when I came off the brake and the automated clutch is now broken.
I'm looking for a car which I can use the creep function in busy traffic etc.
I've been looking and I think I need a auto with a torque converter (traditional auto ) I think anyway,

Or a cvt (Micra uses this gear box I think )
Can anyone tell me what type of cars I should go for?
They would be used cars £3000-£4000 max
I just want to be able to remove foot from brake and creep forward slightly to help with parking and busy traffic.
Thankyou

Yes you’d be looking for a “proper” auto. The Vauxhall Astra J (late 2010-onwards shape) has a decent little autobox.

I agree about preferring the standard 'auto' system. I am so disappointed that so many cars nowadays use the semi auto system. To me - I have driven in north america - an automatic car has a gear lever with PRNDL (or 1 and 2 low gears) marked on it.

I currently have a 2003 yaris 1.3 with this type of gear box - I think that later cars for this model do not have the proper auto.
My previous car was a VW golf 1.6 - which also had the PRNDL system.

I have found it so frustrating looking for an automatic car that is a regular auto - my only suggestion would be Ford or VW who do have this system in their older cars that may fall into your price range.
As I am thinking of changing my Yaris - I shall watch this thread to see which cars have the right kind of auto box Smile.
