Yes according to DH (who does all the cooking), they have transformed his life! His sister first discovered them, she says they have transformed her life too, and she has bought them for him for birthdays so I don't know how expensive they are. I don't put them in the dishwasher though but it doesn't take long to wash them.

Another vote for SKK - you can just swirl water around them and they come clean. The only down side is that they are very heavy - saves on gym fees! I love mine

Not as heavy as those sodding Le Creuset ones though1 I found the handles on the lc frying pan got wobbly very quickly.

err being dumb but what does SKK stand for?

I'm about to buy new saucepans - so these really are worth it? I wonder if you can get them cheap anywhere online?

Divertimenti have a deal at the moment where if you take in your old frypan you can get £10 off an SKK pan. I recently bought one of these and was impressed, as it really is non-stick and appears to be durable. However if I had lots of money I'd only buy a few - a frypan, a saute pan, maybe a grill pan as well if I were really into grilling. For the rest I'd stick to ordinary stainless steel - because I love to stick everything in the dishwasher!

SKK pans are absolutely fantastic! I do a lot of cooking and have gone through various other "top end" pansover the years, but the SKK ones really do what they say on the tin. Great non-stick effect (different to other non stick pans - you can't scratch this off), very easy to clean, and the heavy bases mean the heat is really evenly distributed. I have a frying pan and a saute pan with lid, and hardly ever use any other pans. They are expensive, but you won't need to buy anything else as they really do last for life.
