Joint pressie 2yo, 6yo and 8yo girls

Need the combined shopping know-how of mumsnetters here...
Is there such a thing as a shared pressie for about £30 or under that would suit 3 girls aged 2, 6 and 8?
We're visiting dh's family soon and I'd like to be packing a great gift for these kids that we don't see very often.
The age range is maybe too big?
Otherwise individual gift suggestions would be great. My dd is only 18 months so I'm not well versed in shopping for "big" girls!
Thanks.

What about a game like hungry hippos or operation?

Ikea do a brilliant tent called Murmel (or similar) for about £25. Ideal for all ages

what about one of those mini trampolines, think they are called trampets by supertramp?

Blu · 12/08/2004 16:47

I'd say tent, too.

I think the tent & trampet would prob be too young for the 8 yr old (I've 2 dds aged 7 & nearly 9). I'd look at something crafty that the older ones can do & the younger one can join in with. Alternatively, get a big box & put in paper, coloring pens & pencils, bits of ribbon & glue etc., stickers. That way the older ones can use it for fancy stuff & the 2 yr old can do some nice scibbles (or just eat the crayong like mine did at that age)
Other suggestion is Ello stuff - bit there may be too many fiddly bits in it for the 2 yr old.

Just been to GIrl HEaven - an of shoot of Claire's Accessories I think.

Lots of fluffy things, hairbands and silver wands etc

All very plasticy but at that age i don't think that things will nec last anyway. I know my niece always liked girly prezzies even though a bit of a tomboy..............

As the mum of 2 DDs am expecting to return!

My dd is nearly 12 and you never tire of making dens and hidey holes - didn't you watch Big Brother?????

lyndap · 17/08/2004 08:57

Thanks for the suggestions - think the crafts option is the one I'll go with (and maybe throw in a couple of sparkly shinies from Claire's Acessories, too!
