zapp is either a love it or hate it thing! until you've actually tried living with one for a day i would steer clear- do you know anyone that could lend one for the day?

Micralite is great, but takes some getting used to and doesn't really fold any smaller than the quest if at all!

zapp folds up small and square, I've had no problems so far with mechanism, although you do need two hands to do it (but my mate phono can do it with one hand )

It is very light-weight, easy to push and I love mine fwiw.

I have bothbought the micralite first while living in London and it was great for london easy to push around on pavements and in shoppping centres and fits small spaces on buses and trains and good for holidays folds up very small. However after moving to the sticks we have found the zapp not so good on rougher terrain and useless off-road and really difficult to fold one-handed so when dc no 2 came along - the micralite has proved a godsend - easy to fold and able to stand up on its own it is good for older buses and trains where you need to fold up buggy before you board. it is easy to push one handed while holding hand of wriggly toddler. The ability to recline the seat makes it more comfortable for sleeping baby/ toddler.

disadvantages of both are the tendancy to fall backwards with weight of shopping on back and not great underpushchair storage (you can get under buggy bags for zapp on ebay).

Basically it depends on how you use your buggy - both have good points nad I have used both a great deal

sorry that should be bought zapp first then Micralite...

I bought a Micralite, and then sold it, as a replacement for my Quest. I also wanted something smaller and lighter.

It didn't fit in the boot of my car and though it was gorgeous to push and DD loved it it simply didn't do what I needed it to.

I have a KA by the way and My DH an A3. It fitted in his boot but only at an angle and not as easily as the Quest.
