I'm thinking of buying one of these pushchairs and am wondering if anyone has any experience of them and can answer the following: What age are they suitable until ? How wide is the seat? Do they fully recline?

Well my 2 are 3.9yrs and 2.4 yrs and they can sit side by side in mine! ds1 is getting a bit tall for the sun canopy bit to pull across easily, but I'd say until at least 4yrs. Guess it depends how lazy your child is!! ds1 usually walks everywhere but since investing in this is far too comfortable sharing with ds2! It does fully recline so claims to be suitable from birth. Yet to try this, but thats why we got it.... expecting new baby in Dec. Very easy to push, light to put into the car and folds easily and fairly compactly. I'm completely in love with mine, though think I'll be padding it out with a fleece and cosytoes for dd when she arrives for a bit of added comfort.

Yes, we love ours too. It's great for walks and ds, 16 months, just looks like he's growing into it! The seat doesn't recline flat, but you can get a carrycot / pram attachment.
Would definitely recommend.

We love it. DH loves the adjustable handle height and the easability to push. DS is 8 months and we have had it from birth. Did use the matrix lie flat car seat as a pram top for the first 4 months. I've justed measured and the seat part is 14 inches wide. It lies nearly flat. Much flater than others I have seen and when in lie back mode the head is raised by 6 inches at a slope from the bum. My only gripe is I think the shopping basket is quite small. It's great.

love ours too... ours goes virtually flat... we used from newborn...says you can in the bumpf... shopping basket very small. On ours... the sun canopy is getting a whole in on the left hand side where the release trigger is... should i get onto them to replace it? anyone have a number... its only 9 months old

Another fan here - used from birth with current 8 week old DD. Goes very flat - just make sure you give the strap a good tug when adjusting - although not fully reclining but you would be hard pushed to tell the difference to be fair. You can of course either use a Matrix car seat or a carry cot attachment but both quite pricy for expected life span. With a Jane footmuff attached actually can look quite 'pram' like if you know what I mean.

(We actually had the Matrix car seat initially but when bubba popped out at 10lb 10oz and 58cms long we stuck her in it and then promptly took it back as she looked like she would fit for about a fortnight. I also found it a bit heavier than the others. Swapped for the Jane Rebel which is fine.)

Folds easily, is a dream to push and I think you could turn it on a 10p piece if you had too. Off-road we have used it on the beach and fairly rough country tracks with no problems.

Can you tell I am a fan .

Love mine too and have used in from birth for DD (3 months now). I have a lambskin which I've cut slits in to fit the straps through and she lies on that very comfortably. Without a stroller liner of some kind I think I tiny baby would bounce around a bit. When it was cooler, and when we go into autumn, I used a lovely buggy snuggle I have \linkbuggysnuggle.com{} which looks like a big furry thing. It was expensive 9about £55), but less than the official Jane one and a lot nicer I think. Certainly very cosy.
Re how old you can use the jane till, DS (a large 2.5) loves it and is always wanting to get the baby out so he can get in.
