I would like to know other mums feelings on prams/buggys etc. DS is nearly 6 months have a three in one graco model pushchair/car seat etc. however ds cant lie out flat in buggy. DS has been in hospital for 3 days with viral infection and whilst in there used pram and he loved it. is it worth buying a pram? Or is there something else I can get that will lie flat that will also be used later on when he is sitting up?

I've got a Maclaren Vogue buggy that is 'suitable from birth' ie the seat reclines to almost flat (but not quite) so handy when ds is sleepy. TBH I wouldn't use it for a newborn as I think they should be completely flat (and not enough padding) but good from three months or so.
Or maybe what he liked about the pram was that the baby is quite high up in them ? much higher than they would be in a buggy.
Why don't you take him pram shopping and try out different models? He might even enjoy it... although there is the risk that he'll get very attached to something hideously expensive.

Personally I wouldn't buy a lie flat pram for a six month old. Once he can sit up he'll only happily fully recline when in need of a nap. Most prams would also not be long enough for him much longer. Both mine were into the pushchair section of their 3 in one by 6 months and they were not big babies, but you could try out some of the more traditional 2 in 1 models to see if he'd like the level of those, fit for length and most would fully recline. They tend to be quite cumbersome though which is why many switch to a lightweight buggy at that age. Was it the lie flat feature he enjoyed, the height or facing the person pushing him (dd didn't face forwards until about 10 months - again one fo the pros of many 2 in 1's/3in1's vs buggies and most 3 wheelers).

Hope he is feeling better now.

I have a Chicco Travel System (3 in 1) and my dd hates it.

She is 3 months old and screams when I put her in the bassinet part (upright or flat). She also screams when I put her in the stroller part (upright or flat). I haven't tried the car seat part in a while but I suspect it will be the same story.

I am so confused because I can't figure out if it is her pram she hates or going outside.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful because I have intense cabin fever because going out is such an ordeal.
