Anybody know where you can get these things cheapish.. wooden railtrack with bridges etc all ready made up on a child sized table?
ds fell in love with one when we went to Eastbourne (btw I recommend the railway place there- for Thomas buffs).

unicorn, pls forgive me for butting in, but the ebay one is only in Slough - 3 mins from M4 J7 - wherever you are in London, it can't cost you as much in petrol as I have paid for postage for eg a pair of trousers on ebay! It's a lovely table - worth putting a reasonable bid in? (esp compared with £129 for the GLTC one?)

janh- I reckon this will go to a bidding war though.. and I get a bit frenzied with ebay sometimes (spent too much on clothes that I just HAD to have for dd!!)will try but once you have a bid in it's like war... stick with it to the bloody end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, yes, IKWYM, unicorn!

But you could wait until the last 24 hours and see how it's going before getting involved? Ends 10pm Friday. I'll look out for you! Good luck!

Don't bid until the last seconds - and than just put in a miximum bid of the most you're willing to pay. It will only go up by one increment above the max anyone else has put in, and if you time it right then they won't have time to respond. You could even use this , or this to do it for you so you don't need to be online at the time yourself.
