Does this exist - cupboard locks for kitchen doors without handles, that don't have to be screwed in

Um, well that's it really! DS has started yanking open the kitchen cabinets. It is a minging kitchen (they used to have the same one on Eastenders in the Vic!) Anyway, I digress. The doors have no handles on them. I would prefer not to have to screw anything onto them (military quarters, not our own house).

Any suggestions, lovely ones?

yep, i bought them. cost a flipping fortune but soooo worth ot for the lack of hassle. i'll see if i can remember where i got them.

MrsBadger · 20/04/2007 09:17

there are adhesive ones that mean the cupboard will only open a cm or two without an adult disengaging them... let me have a hunt around

AitchTwoOh · 20/04/2007 09:19

hope this will work

i got the extralock ones, they're very good.

MrsBadger · 20/04/2007 09:23

these would do it, or this (also in multipacks from same site), or these

Thank you very much

hhhh, lapin, let's see how they respond to this first... have just sent this email. hope it is self-explanatory.

"I was just linking two friends to your site, one for safety locks and one for a gate, when I noticed that the locks you sent me for £45.99 were not in fact Extralock ones but a brand called Dreambaby. The reason it came to my attention is that my friend actually pointed out this link www.babysecurity.co.uk/pp/Child_Safety_Locks_and_Latches/Child_Locks/Dreambaby_Dual-Action_Adhesive_Double_Locks_(2_Pack).html which informed me that the Dreambaby locks I was sent only cost £2.99 per pack, maximum.
You charged me £3.83. Had I bought a single pack you would have charged me £4.99. This is an outrageous mark up.

To be honest I didn't think much of brand disparity at the time, although I did feel a little irritated by the fact that a so-called 24-pack was in fact simply 12 packs chucked into a Safetots box - had I known this meant that I would have been able to order the 10 that I actually needed rather than waste money buying locks I didn't need.

So, I need to know if I have been sent the wrong product, in which case I would like my Extralock locks, thanks. Or if you are just charging nearly double the RRP I would like an explanation for this rip-off behaviour as I will be posting it on Mumsnet, the parenting website that gets more than 10,000 hits per day. This is the site where I first heard of you, and i have recommended you on there myself. Now that I find you are over-charging your customers I will now have to revise my position.
Sincerely
Aitch"
