I lived in Islington for about a year when i was young...my bro lives in E17 but used to live in Hackney.

DP's mum lives in Sydenham.

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 11:48

Oooooooh I know Lewisham too. I went to school in Sydenham (lovely school ).

So how come now in North London? Not many people move t'other side of the river from wherever they start out. And how long since you moved from Scotland?

Sorry, lots of questions.

i think because im not native londoner i did not mind moving sarf to north. other people thought it a bit of a jaw dropper

work commitments and then house hunted there too

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 12:23

I have only ever been Sarf London. Went to North London once . Have moved from South East to South West though, but all my family are still in South East.

Ds just helped me water the garden. He then picked up handfuls of wet mud in each hand. The he immediately started crying and demanded a cuddle. I am now rather muddy. I already HAD a bath AND washed my hair. Grrrrrrrrr (this is not anger on the fluffy thread btw, just a little growl).

mumto3girls · 02/05/2007 12:40

Aww your ds sounds lovely Egg..
I'm going to try and post some pics of dd3 in her zapp today if i can remembeer how...

DD3 always chews my hair and it's so depressing when I've just washed it and then she chews it with her yoghurty mouth!!

BTW - I'm glad that wa s little grr...I thought our fluffy thread wa sgoing all aggressive !!

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 12:45

He IS lovely. Such a sweetie, and of course very handsome (takes after his daddy).

I will take a pic in the sunshine this afternoon. Forgot this morning. Then I will have to mail it to Squonk for her to display for me!

mumto3girls · 02/05/2007 14:56

Hi

It's not a Zapp picture (sorry) but I have a pic of my dd3 on my profile now if anyone wants to see her...

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 17:19

Ahhhhhhhh she is so gorgeous. DS would like her a lot (he prefers them a bit older).

Decided today is the day DH will meet my Zapp. I can't be bothered hiding it away tonight, so it is sitting loud and proud in the middle of the room. He is due home at 6pm...

mumto3girls · 02/05/2007 17:40

Thanks Egg

I'll check and see how DH liked your Zapp after 6pm!!

Good Luck !

gothicmama · 02/05/2007 17:45

good luck egg

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 18:28

Well. He came in, and I explained what a bargain my new orange friend was. He said "to be honest Egg, I am not impressed". He has said the only way he will justify it is if we sell the Slalom Pro AND the Mclaren!!!!!!!!

He does like it though, and said he wished we had always had one .

gothicmama · 02/05/2007 18:30

so not to bad then

mumto3girls · 02/05/2007 19:46

rubbish - just sell the maclaren!!!

Well done Egg..does DH want to join the Zapp Gang?

LittleEgg · 02/05/2007 19:49

Exactly, no need to sell BOTH. And not sure I would get that much for either of them.

He has said he will be really happy using the Zapp for MiniEgg II one day, as he has apparently always liked the maxi cosi 0+ car seats that click in. He said "oh those car seats that babies look uber cute in".

So, I think he is sold on the Zapp. I will get him to sign up to MN so he can join our club.

Bugger, I have not always been complimentary about him on here though so I cant. Grrrr.

tullytwo · 02/05/2007 20:18

Just wanted to check whether I will have to sign for this if it comes tommorow?

I am out all morning and was going to leave backgate open just in case it came when I was gone but obviously would be no point if I have to sign.

bonkerz · 02/05/2007 20:19

dont need to sign but be carful cos mine was nicked cos courier just left it in full view of door!

tullytwo · 02/05/2007 20:22

I know bonkerz thats what making me wary of even going out!

My back garden is pretty private - you would have to come down the drive and open the gate to see if anything was in there.

Just I have plans tommorow that I dont want to miss and then it may never come anyway!

Will leave gate open and hope for the best I think - better than not leaving it open and he leaves it on the front doorstep!

fryalot · 02/05/2007 20:25

Have been off-line all day and I really missed you all

Mine was delivered at the earliest possible time, but Egg waited for three days, so it may not even come tomorrow. Sod's law, though, says that if you go out, it will come and if you stay in, then it won't arrive till next week.

dp been busy spending money, so whatever guilt I had about buying mine, tis gone - pouff - just like that

mumto3girls · 02/05/2007 22:12

Yay Squonk you can reveal the Zapp now!!

misdee · 02/05/2007 22:13
