Car seat can´t go in front, seat belt too short in back??!

We´ve got a maxi cosi car seat to go with our travel system buggy. We can´t put it in the front seat because apparently the air bag cannot be desactivated (which we presumed it would do). So we just went to try and put it in the back seat but the seatbelts are too short and don´t fit all the way around!!!
So what do we do now?? Has anyone had this and what did they do? Do you know if you can change the back seatbelts for longer ones???
Baby due in 1 week so any advice greatly appreciated!

does the frog have a carrycot?

If it does and you can't resolve the belt issue just get any safe carseat that fits your car and use the carrycot instead of the carseat on the chassis. Much better for their back anyway.

How confusing, that´s where I looked before and it does say from 2003 but then underneath it says ´It is not known if this seat fits in this model´ or something. ?? Might have to call them..

Thanks for the other car seat suggestion too.. you´ve all been a great help, thanks!

Well. Dh came home and after a lot of adjusting the seats and this and that and whatnot we have actually found the carseat fits in the back. PHEW! Which is kind of a shame because I was really liking the idea of a fixed base rather than having to belt the seat in everytime

Still might need to get one because they do look very handy...
