Am getting mine in the post and it alleges you can nurse form it
Am visualising getting some life back ie: basic cooking for one thing.
What age could i expect to feed ds2 from in a pouch sling then?
He is 4 wks and very strong and built like an ox. He can get to my nip laying in bed so reckon he's a contender already maybe?

Have bf from birth until...well, 2.5 ish with ds2 (but he was tiny) in a ring sling. It is very liberating and delightfully snuggly.

As soon as you can mange it I think- I'd give it a try as soon as it arrived. I must say I never managed it at all. Ds would wriggle and squirm and my very large norks would just be squashed against his face (in fact no wonder he squirmed).

I think most people manage it with practice though and of all the slings I used, the pouch was the one where I came closest to the madonna and child type calm vision of breastfeeding that I so yearned for.

Most of the time it was more like a sort of one-sided sumo wrestling match - Me the sumo wrestler and ds the sumo in training.
