Phil and Teds Side by Side E3 Twin - am I missing something?

Hello,

Looking for a double pushchair for DS and new baby - will be 20 month gap. I've looked at a few and the handsdown winner is the P & T Twin. The side by side one, not the normal tandem. So far I am thinking it is fabulous (total lie flat for baby/narrowest double etc) so what am I missing - why aren't there more around?

Anyone got one - what do you think?

Ta

When they're both sat up it's a bit tight and it is wider and a bit more cumbersome than the other e3 - also doesn't convert neatly to a single when the older one is walking.

But if you're happy - just be happy

It was recalled app see CPSC

I dont know if they have corrected this. I had a search and very few of the online shops seem to sell it. Where did you see it? I agree it sounds quite good (i need a double too so interested).

Looks similar to the mountain buggy side by side which I prefer to the phil and ted's tandem.

Thanks, all very useful.

I know I am being quite extravagant. I already have a great single pushchair (Loola) which I will use for baby and quinny zapp which I will use with DS if I am out with DH/granny etc. Really I am looking for something to take the two of them for walks in, and be a general run around.

We've tried a couple of umbrella types but one thing I don't like on the our single pushchairs is having to use both hands to push - really want one handle. Plus DS, has, putting it diplomatically, more of the physique of a prop forward than ballerina so can't actually get his shoulders in the McLaren or similar.I think his weight is also switching me off the more conventional tandems.

There are quite a few online stores selling the E3 twin - I just googled the full name. The one I would consider buying is actually from a local shop, purely because their offer is cheaper. Generally though I've found online nursery shopping so much better and miles cheaper.

Thanks for advice.
