EE upgrade

Sorry but it has to be iPhone! I have an old 6 that is in its way out and due an EE upgrade. I don't want to switch provider due to reception/4g where I live. I want unlimited minutes and texts with the most gb I can get. How do I get the best deal?
Thanks x

Was just looking at this the other day as my 6 is also due for an EE upgrade in November :) I was looking at going for the 6S as you can get a 64gb version, all the newer ones seem to either be 32gb (not enough for me) or 128gb (unnecessarily expensive!) for about £38 a month with 8gb data, which is better than the plan I'm on at the mo.

I've had the best success with EE upgrades by just deciding on the phone I want, seeing what plans they offer, then phoning them and asking what discounts they can offer if o renew. I usually get £10 ish a month off the website price but I've been a T Mobile/EE customer for 10 years. Have a friend who does the "oh well I can get it cheaper from another provider" thing but it doesn't seem to work any better and personally makes me uncomfortable.

Good luck! Smile

If you want the very best deal it is actually cheaper to buy the new iPhone handset and then switch to a sim-only deal with EE. If you can't afford to pay for a new iPhone up front, you could put it on a credit card with 0% interest for at least a year, and pay it off before the end of the interest-free period. When you get a new phone on a contract you end up paying a huge amount for it over the course of the contract.

Actually you wouldn't need a credit card, you can get 0% interest direct from Apple.

With iPhone Payments, you can pay for your iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone 8 over 20 months, completely interest-free.

For example, the 64GB iPhone 8 is £31.50/month for 20 months.

You can also trade in your old iPhone 6 for about £145 off a new one, although you'd probably get more for it if you sold it on eBay.
