Hi everyone

It's DD's 2nd birthday at the beginning of September and I am wondering if anyone has bought tablewear / balloons etc. from any good websites?

Also, if I buy my own balloons, how can I get them blown up with helium?

TIA.

I've been using Party Pieces www.partypieces.co.uk for years, they're very good and I can highly recommend them to you. With regards to the balloons, I think you can buy balloon kits for parties(?)

boudicca · 18/07/2004 11:32

I think you can fill your own balloons many places that sell them can either hire you a canister of helium gas,or you could try BOC,it would depend how many balloons as to wether it was cost effective to DIY

I bought a helium canister that inflates 30 balloons and came with 30 ballons and it was £21 from costco

I've used \linkwww.partypieces.co.uk \Party Pieces{} too. Good and reliable.

party box

(Haven't used them though.)

soapbox · 18/07/2004 12:54

Monsterparties are cheaper than partybox although slightly more limited stock.

wfdenny do ridiculously cheap stuff including party bag toys, but tend to be for larger numbers.

Also for bits and pieces ebay is very good if you are doing larger numbers, particularly for party bag toys.

Opps forgot to say - you can hire a helium canister to fill 200 baloons for about £50. Just look in your yellow pages. Think they do them in smaller sizes too.

Urchin do good party decorations - bunting etc. They are a bit expensive but I get out our Happy Birthday fairy lights at every party and I'm sure they'll be worth the cost (£19.95) eventually. I like to make birthday traditions that the children can look forward to every year.
I like the look of their pinata (but probably a bit old for a 2 year old!!!)

littlemissbossy · 18/07/2004 13:13

can't do links but copy and paste this :www.partydelights.co.uk/themes/helium-balloons.asp for a disposable helium canister plus 30 balloons for £31.99
