We want a trapoline for dd (3). She will probably play on it on her own most of the time unless she has little friends over. We will get it with a safety net. Which size should we go for do tyou think. We have found 8 ft, 10 ft, 12 ft and 14 ft. Can't physically see them though as they are on the net

As big as you can fit in would be my advice.

I'd definitely look at 12 or 14 foot ones. Anything smaller is likely to be a pain if she has friends over

that's what I though soapbox. Space isn't an issue but we were looking at the cost- the 14ft is double the price of the 8 ft so just thought if there wasn't much in it then we could save some money

I am looking into trampolines at the mo. If it's advisable only to have one child jumping at a time, why do they make such big ones? Or am I being unrealistic?

Will need to big enough for adults to have a bounce too!
I find it immpossible to keep my 4 DC on it seperatly. They like to play games not just bounce alone!

I have a 8 foot one with enclosure cost £89 at xmas. My 5 and 3 year old both bounce on it fine.

14ft if you can fit it in your garden.

IME, it's practically hopeless trying to stick to the 'one at a time' rule.

Pixiefish · 01/04/2007 12:44

I've ordered this one here

14ft is a monstrous size. Have you all got a fair bit of land at the back of your houses?

cece · 01/04/2007 15:19

Well in the name of research I have been bouncing on my 8 footer

Not a pretty sight as I am not small. It was fine. In fact me and two small children at one point. Again it was fun!

We have 4 fields and a massive front garden. The back garden is tiny but we do have enough space jalopy :D

Was worried that we'd end up buying another one for her next year if we got one too small
