You are using too much, you need only a tiny amount, apple pip size for mid length hair.

The art is in making sure all the hair is coated whilst still only using a teeny bit.

I'm thinking of trying this - hair is fine but thick and I get that slight halo of frizz.

fishie · 26/03/2007 12:50

i find it dries my hair out catastrophically, but i have v fine long curly hair.

I can never get the amount right. I'm quite liking the Nicky Clarke 'Smooth it over' range atm, with a spray-on, leave-in conditioner.

You're probably using too much.
Think it suits coarser hair, not really suitable for fine hair

NatalieJane · 26/03/2007 12:53

Pass!! I would guess it aids the spreading and that perhaps it needs to be slightly diluted? Don't really know TBH, but when it is used correctly it is fantabulous!

hoxtonchick · 26/03/2007 12:54

god, i use loads. but i have super curly hair. you need to dry your hair without rubbing it cod, if that makes any sense.....

fishie · 26/03/2007 12:54

i think it has silycone in it (one of them anyway silicon?) so you are meant to trap some moisture in. hence drying effect on my poor locks. try one of those smoothing creams instead, there are loads of them.

NatalieJane · 26/03/2007 12:55

I have the finest hair going and I used to use it all the time.

nikkie · 26/03/2007 20:31

I use it on dd1s just use a lttle bit or it goes greasy.

DrMarthaMcMoo · 26/03/2007 20:33

It's too heavy for my hair. What colour hair have you got, cod? The John Frieda Brilliant Brunette stuff is just...well...brilliant.

Whizzz · 26/03/2007 20:33

The Frizz ease shampoo & conditioners are very good (work for me anyway) - you can get for curly hair or straight - both are brill.
