Replacement elastic for toy trampoline
babster · 09/07/2004 18:20
Does anyone know where you can get replacement elastic for the small ELC-type trampolines? I have thrown away the instruction leaflet so don't know if the manufacturer can supply them. Any ideas gratefully received!

YES!
we used the thick elastic they use on taught-liner waggons (or lorries for the southerners). If you go to your local wagon depot and just ask for a few meters they should just give it to you. Ours has lasted 5 years so far. Just loop thro each hole and round frame, imo better than the springs!

LOL at Babster - picking up lorry drivers for the sake of trampoline elastic. For trampoline spare parts look at www.supertramp.co.uk HTH

ELC sell it themselves - bought some a couple of years ago for about £9 I think.

Oh and I was looking forward to a bacon sarnie and a strong cuppa! I did used to know a lorry driver, but he overturned his truck into a village cemetery and lost his job - don't think his depot will be too forthcoming. So I'll try those suggestions, or else I'll take you up on your kind offer, yamamoto. Thanks.
