Swim aid for a 2 year old

Following on from the 13 month old swim aid thread...

DD will be 2.5 years when we go on holiday. I have remembered to get her all the UV swim suits, hats and swim shoes, etc but that thread has made me realise that she no longer has a suitable swim aid that fits her.

In the past she has had a baby seta - now too big for these - and arm bands - but they are no use for her to be independent.

So what does eveyone recommend? Hoping to go and buy something this weekend or next.

Mum2Ela, dd weighs about 35lbs and hers keeps her afloat easily even though we've removed a couple of the floats. It's great because she doesn't need any holding in the water at all so we can stand a bit away from her and have her swim to us etc. She loves it.

Thanks Sponge. Thats exactly the info I needed! I would feel better about DD wearing one of those suits instead of arm bands when around the pool and villa, as if she falls over or in the water, she won't hurt herself and also will not drown!!

I've been looking to get a pool noodle as well. You can get the noodles/woggles (whatever you call them!) from big garden centres -normally those that stock pool equipment (e.g. I know Garsons in Esher stocks them). Otherwise you can get them online from newitts.com or here .

I would think though that it is easier to go out and get a noodle because any of those sites will just take the mickey with the delivery cost!
