My dd is 2 and was recently given 2 'Spot' CD roms which she loves. But as we have a laptop we have to do a lot of the pointing for her asshe cant use the touchpad. I am sure I have seen small mice (?) for kids somewhere but cant remember where and have just spent a fruitless hour looking online (has to be online as we are remote).
Any clues???
TIA

It seems there is one available, it's called the Tiny Mouse and it's made in Canada by a company called L'il Hands. Their site only supplies to Canada by the look of it.

But I found the same one on a UK site for special needs products:

Hopefully you can order online, if not they should do phone orders. HTH

HI susanmt, we have a Tiny Mouse, it's great - so much easier to use for their little hands. I was lucky enough to win mine, but they are 19 pounds on the site MandyD mentions. Here's the spiel off the Canadian site...

[The "Tiny Mouse" is a computer mouse designed for Li'l Hands; it is about half the size of a typical adult mouse and is appropriate for children 2 - 5 years of age.

Anyone who has ever tried to teach a young child on a adult mouse knows that their hand typically reaches across the narrowest part of the mouse causing them to "right click" when in fact a "left click" is required. The Tiny Mouse will correct this problem. Not only does this mouse fit their hand comfortably, it is color coded with Blue & Red Dots; which for a young child is a much easier concept than left-click and right-click. You'll be amazed at how attached your child becomes to "their mouse"!]

The only drawback is you can't switch to an adult-sized mouse once you have turned your computer on, (unplugging a mouse or plugging one in while your computer is on can do very bad things to your computer - don't do it!) so you need to keep switching them between times or turn it off and change it if you forget...or just use the Tiny mouse yourself like I did for months cos I kept forgetting! That said, I'd still definitely recommend it anyway!
