no advice from me - my hair's dead straight without artifice

Dinosaur · 14/02/2007 20:37

Watching with interest! I use either the stuff that came with the GHDs, which is good but smells rank, or some pink spray on stuff from Trevor Sorbie, which smells better but sisn't so effective!

Countess Dracula recommended some John Frieda stuff but I['m not sure which one it was...

Dior, I use Frizz Eze serum after towel drying and then dry and then spray with a Mark Hill hair protector and they straighten, it gives a lovely sheen. Think the Mark Hill costs around eight quid though, but you don't use much and mine has lasted about 4/5 months so far and am about half way through. HTH

I don't know the answer but my hair is exactly like yours by the sounds of it so I am interested to know the answer...

Te Nicky Clarke 'red Carpet' hair protector is great too.
Often on offer in Boots

Skyler · 15/02/2007 19:17

Hmmm, I am not overly impressed with Mark Hill. My hair is getting dry using it with the GHD's
I used to use the Loreal Professional heat activated straightening cream?? (Black packaging) when I tried to blow dry straight and that was good but haven't used it with GHD's yet. I think a protective serum is better than a spray. At least this is what my hairdresser uses and it is better than my efforts.

swifterella · 15/02/2007 19:18

dior i use bumble and bumble magic spray (from selfridges and is too bloomin expensive but good) a bit of serum and heat spray (aveda i think) and that seems to do the trick. Also put the products in when hair isnt sopping wet, seems to be more effective. Sorry not much help!

swifterella · 15/02/2007 19:18

oh and my hair is VERY thick and kinky/curly. nightmare
