m and s have a cute diggers one

noddyholder · 09/02/2007 18:31

Have had a few printed but not character but breathed a sigh of relief when I pit a plain white one on and ds didn't notice, and it has been plain ever since

danceswithnewboots · 09/02/2007 18:34

Ooh I like the last one you put up Tutter.

Thanks for all those links Nbgs too. Tractors are also a favourite of ds.

Right dances I am with you, I find. That Chelsea one is hideous. DS currently has a blue and red one with boats on from Next but I think it is getting a bit babyish for a 6yo. He says he wants a knights one. Does anyone know where I can get anything along that line?

DD will be getting a butterfly one I think (or poss. flowers) to go with her dressing table when we decorate her room in the spring. She currently has a plain blue one - poor neglected second child!

danceswithnewboots · 09/02/2007 19:14

Can I just say on this matter that I loved how Cod was all right on and children have a choice etc etc and then posted links to the most bodenesque sports duvets I've ever seen....ahem [gr

I'll let you know if I see something on my searches Bozza.

DS1 has DR Who
DS2 has Cars teh movie duvet.
Both hideous
Both clash with the decor. But they love them , they wanted them.
Theri beds , their rooms. fine by me.

foxtrot · 09/02/2007 19:19

Character duvets are ok, but i wouldn't cross the line into wallpaper, curtains, bins, lightshades and other assorted accessories.

danceswithnewboots · 09/02/2007 19:19

Good for you Sheraz (meant sincerely). Still not happening in my house though

danceswithnewboots · 09/02/2007 19:20

Foxtrot - don't even go there

OP posts:
Sheraz · 09/02/2007 19:20

No just have the duvets, rest of room is nsutral and fairly good taste! Have to draw the line somwhwere!

foxtrot · 09/02/2007 19:31

actually i'm with you dances, and have sucessfully avoided the duvets - but father christmas (the DH version) brought spiderman, thomas and the disney princesses. I sneak on my tasteful mermaids, stripes, dragons and wizards whenever possible
