fan bloody tastic
I love pumpkin patch, we know them from Australia, they are really stylish, especially for boys, and very hard wearing.

They are working on selling on-line in the near future too.

I love PP too. If you have skinny kids they are great as the trousers are adjustable!

Aero · 09/06/2004 22:42

My Aussie bessie mate swears by them. Apparantly their sales are really well worth waiting for!

Tommy · 09/06/2004 22:47

PP seems to be one of the few shops that sell boys' clothes that aren't all navy blue and/or camouflage (sp?) (see various recent threads!)I have my eye on some things in there for my DSs to wear to a wedding

Soapbox · 09/06/2004 22:47

There is a pumpkin patch shop in Bromley which I use. I've bought loads of stuff especially for my DS. The boys clothes are really nice and colourful which makes a change from the usualy dingy stuff!

Everything washes and wears well and keeps their colour.

The web site is here and you can register to get emails giving details of the sales, which are definately worth waiting for

Spod · 09/06/2004 23:45

love pp, theres one in milton keynes

Gingerbear · 10/06/2004 03:22

Love Pumpkin Patch stuff, the girls clothes are trendy and hardwaring, and most importantly NOT ALL PINK.
The shop in Meadowhall carries some maternity stuff too.

Wait for the sales though.

SoupDragon · 10/06/2004 07:46

Yes! I kept recommending them on the "boys clothes are cr*p" threads.

No one listens to me... mutter mutter...

Bozza · 10/06/2004 21:20

Yes I always recommend them and buy clothes for DS there. DD has so many clothes not bought her anything yet but will do. Also use them for "new baby" presents and had some maternity stuff from there. Am a real fan. The colours are the best thing about them I think.

xoz · 10/06/2004 21:30

I love pumpkin patch... they make fantastic, gorgeous clothes for boys and girls, and their maternity stuff is great too (although beware because Australian ladies sizes are 1 size different ie. a UK 14 is an Australian 12). Used to get dd1 clothes from there in oz b4 we moved over here.
Was delighted to find a shop in Swindon when I moved here, but, oh woe is me , they have just closed it down (and I missed the sale ). I am really looking forward to when they are selling online.....

lydialemon · 10/06/2004 21:38

I love their maternity stuff, the tshirts were big enough for a non-stick AND were long enough to actually cover bump and groin! Girls stuff is really sweet, but all the boys stuff I saw seemed to be bright blue or orange!? Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

Joanne69 · 10/06/2004 23:59

I too love PP for dd1&2, well I did when I last went to one but a bit of a trek for me, anybody any idea when you will be able to get stuff online?

So nice to have colours for baby/toddler girls that isnt just pink and reasonably priced too.

Ghosty · 11/06/2004 02:03

Isn't it funny ...
We have PP everywhere here in NZ (where PP is from) ...
I do love the clothes but I very rarely shop there ... far far far too expensive and overpriced IMHO!!! When I look at the price and convert it into pounds I know that it is good value for money in the UK ... but in $s it is extortionate!!!

toddlerbob · 11/06/2004 03:31

Another NZ resident who won't use them because they are just too expensive here. Sells for a good price second hand, but even so. I agree the boys stuff is a lot better than most shops.

Marina · 11/06/2004 14:22

Another fan, got ds two gorgeous brightly coloured sunhats there on Saturday. Love their colours for both sexes this summer.

Millie1 · 11/06/2004 22:38

I think they're brilliant for boys too but have been waiting over 2 years now for them to sell on-line in the UK ... wish they'd hurry up!!

codswallop · 12/06/2004 15:21

you cna order stuff reom the catalogue apparently. I think its cheap int he Uk! a fiver for a pair of shorts

xo2 there is one in southampton

Dh is a Kiwi and we have been sent loads of Pumpkin Patch stuff from his rels. I had never heard of it before.
Thing is, dd isn't very big and their newborn stuff is HUGE. She won't be big enough for ages. Very cute.
What about Dimples, anyone?
