Anyone know of a straightforward electronic maths toy??

I want to get dd1 some kind of electronic maths toy for her 5th birthday, as she has recently become very interested in doing her sums and carries a small yellow calculator everywhere with her trying to figure things out on it, but everything I've seen looks complicated and expensive. I used to have a Little Professor when I was a nipper and was hoping for something easy to use like that, but I think everything is a bit more sophisticated these days. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We got my ds1 one for Xmas, he is 5 and he loves it. You can get an addition/subtraction one and a times table one i think. You can do sums or have it on question mode so it gives you a sum and you have to give the answer.

Wasn't expensive either, around a tenner.
Will see if I can find a link

they do them on amazon but am sure I bought it cheaper than this in sainsburys or somewhere.

If you google for "Twist and shout toy" loads come up.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. It's got to be simple or I won't know how to use it, let alone dd1!
