Advice on pushchairs

Hi all - hope you can give me some advice.

My DD2 is 4 months old, I currently have a Jane Powertrack for her which I love as its so easy to use and comfy for her, however it's huge and when I go away later this summer if we take that they'll be no room in the car boot for anything else!

So basically I am looking to sell the Jane and get a new pushchair that is suitable for her but maybe I am looking for the impossible. It needs to be fairly lightweight and not huge when folded and of course not cost a fortune - though I am happy to look at 2nd hand.

I originally loved the Quinny Zapp, but it doesn't recline so thats no good, so I thought about the Quinny Buzz but I've read some bad reviews, I just need to get to the shops and have a look around, unfortunatley I can't at the moment as we are in quarantine - DD1 has chicken pox.

Any thoughts and advice gratefully received.

Meant to say that with the Quinny I already have the car seat so that it is appropriate for a baby.

I am in the same predicament - I have thought about getting the zapp.. my DS is 6 months but I think the zapp is for 6 months only as it can only sit up and no recline

i have heard mixed reviews about it but my SIL says it is good and it is very good in terms of size and weight..

There is a new 2007 model just come out which as far as I can see is very similar to 2006 but in different colours ...

i think this means that the 2006 model is cheaper and i think the general price is £150 in the proper shops, but look on line as i have seen some brand new ones for £109 including bag and footmuff etc..

hope i have been some help and hope out of quarantine soon xxx

Thanks Kathryn. I had a look at the Zapp today and have now ruled it out as I feel it is too upright so baby/child would not really be able to sleep in it if out for a while. I still quite like the Buzz but not really sure if its much smaller than the one I've already got.

Any other advice or opinions?

Why not just get a cheap or 2ndhand umbrella fold buggy?

If you love the Powertrack I would keep it. For your holiday you could pick up a Maclaren Triumph or something similar. It's always handy to have a car buggy.

I'd echo what Mummy2Aaron says - there is no one pushchair that does everything, and £30 on a second-hand Maclaren for holidays and travelling will be money well spent.

(The Techno is the best for tinies but after 3mo the Triumph has the best lightness vs comfort tradeoff IMO)
