we currently have a monster pushchair for ds which is very lovely but we're trying for number 2 so i am thinking of selling it.
ds will be coming up for 3 when baby is born (if i get pg this month lol) so we won't need a double. but i will need something that is easy-ish to steer with one hand and not too heavy.

was looking at the loola and jane carrera but they're really just super-strollers aren't they? rather than a nice comfy pushchair.
the one we have at the moment has fab suspension and air wheels but it's just too big and heavy if i have a toddler to chase as well.

I do like the look of some of the other bebe confort pushchairs but I'm just not sure what to do.
also had a look at the urban detour 3 wheelers and quinny speedi.
but need some expert advice lol. I definitely can't afford bugaboo prices and am not THAT keen on m&p (though maybe persuaded). I just want something really comfy for the baby, but easy to use

misdee · 29/01/2007 23:10

the abc one is compatable with the toddler seat

nappyaddict · 29/01/2007 23:35

how about the traxx jaguar 4? or an emmajungla?

hairymclary · 29/01/2007 23:46

it's all so bloody confusing argh!

ok, am trying to narrow down and think I definitely want one that faces me. so that rules quite a few out lol.

am still leaning towards the bebe confort trophy air.
will go and research traxx and emmaljunga though as well

i got a bugaboo frog off ebay the other day quite cheap with all accessories - or the quinny buzz is going quite cheap

sorry to interrupt but love talking buggies!!

what about themicralite with the carry cot on i had it as the pushchair and it's quite good

i would avoid m and p like a bad smell bought a moove last year and only had it a fortnight and it broke took it back and they sent it away for three wks got it back took it home folded it up and stood it up it fell over had a closer look something different was broken on it - took it back again and they said they would send it off again - i said i would like a new one or a refund as they only give you a nasty lightweight stroller (cheapy one) as a loan- she said they don't give refunds on used items and it would have to be repaired again

anyway i could go on about m and p for ages did eventually get my money back but don't buy directly from them they are awful

nappyaddict · 30/01/2007 11:35

there's also the quinny freestyle.

hairymclary · 31/01/2007 20:46

had a look at bugaboos on ebay and deffo can't afford one. not too keen on micralite although i haven't actually tried one out so you never know

OP posts:
tinkerbellie · 31/01/2007 21:38

the inly thing with the micralite is you would have to use it with a car seat or buy the carrycot until dc is six months old (although i think it might be three for micralite)

how about the buzz i haven't had one myself but my quinny is good and a woman near me has one and it looks great!! i think they're quite cheap on ebay saw some for under £100!! although i think you have to get the carrycot or carseat again

when dd was tiny i used the quinny zapp frame with the maxi cosi cabrio carseat and it was great - gotloads of comments off people (the only thing is not v comfie ride as the wheels are small but folded down sooo small) but definately love the bugaboo now

there;s the mamas and papas scoot (thjey have them at john lewis and on ebay) they ar similar to the bugaboo light weight (about 9kgs) and fold flat looks really good and hasthe option of facing either way and is a pramette and takes a carseat - but if you buy a m and p buy through a third party they will have a better returns policy than m ans p

nappyaddict · 01/02/2007 02:13

i saw a quinny out the other day. it had 4 wheels, the air filled type does anyone know what its called?

tinkerbellie · 01/02/2007 21:16

is it the quinny fashion i thkn i have seen it before on ebay

nappyaddict · 01/02/2007 23:45

the quinny 3xl is another good one to think of. i prefer that to the buzz.

misdee · 01/02/2007 23:46

i am selling a gecko, offers around the £375 mark.
