ELC do a remote control t-rex (about 20 quid) or the jungle trax (like happyland but with jurassic park theme) it's modular so can add pieces whenever (basic box is about £25-30 but includes everything you'll need).

codswallop · 05/06/2004 13:05

Hmm cheaper please!

its only a " visiting" present

ELC do lots of 'pocket money 'type toys which include little plastic, realistic looking animals including bugs, insects and dinosaurs. Start from about £1 or £2 I think.

codswallop · 05/06/2004 13:11

thanks
will have to try and work out one he ahsnt got

Second ELC dinos - the plastic (rubber?) ones are only a couple of punds each and my DS played with his loads.

Also M&S does a bug hunting kit (ELC might do as well) which cost about £5 IIRC.

jampot · 05/06/2004 13:15

what about the insect/bug catcher kit (about £5) - sorry thought it was his birthday and you were being disorganised!!!

codswallop · 05/06/2004 13:20

Here is this

Fingers crossed...I expect you've gone to by your gift by now.

foxinsocks · 05/06/2004 14:20

ELC/WH Smiths also do fantastic dinosaur sticker books. Have never looked for bugs ones (as ds is only dino mad at the moment). Also you can get pocket money tubes/bags of bugs or mini-dinosaurs from big ELCs that aren't too pricy and are very popular round here.

jampot · 05/06/2004 14:21

lemonice - I sometimes venture into Leamington (my sis lives in Warwick) where's your shop?

lemonice · 05/06/2004 14:27

Well as I'm coming on to the discount list shortly I guess it's ok for me to say Warwick end of Regent St and called City of Marvels

lemonice · 05/06/2004 14:30

link effort again minus spelling mistake

jampot · 05/06/2004 14:42
