Looking to buy Clarks / Start-Rite shoes online

I wondered if anyone knows of any websites I can try to get good quality childrens shoes - something like Clarks or Start-Rite - but not at £30 a time?
Being a single parent, I have to make every penny count - but I do want my children to have good shoes.

Thanks

Do you not think you should get them properly fitted though? Not being judgmental, just a thought.

Charity shops are worth a look - sometimes just the right thing turns up. Plenty on ebay too but obviously you can't try them on. What are you looking for at the moment?

can you not take dc to clakrs to have their feet meausreed first just to make sure you get the correct size, both my ds' have very wide feet and at first i had to buy them shoes from clarks to get the correct width.

M & S do good shoes, but you'd obviously have to make sure they fit yourself.

Try this site, they have clarks and start rite shoes very reasonably priced

Clarks outlet shops will measure and fit but you can often get real bargains. Often half price or less.

Do be careful about the fit - it's not just length and width, it's the particular shoe and the particular foot. A 'f' in one shoe style may be a 'g' in another IYSWIM. Try them on carefully, feel around the toes and heel, make your kid walk and run in them (indoors) and if they don't fit like a glove (with room for growth), return. Visit a shoe shop and see how the assistant checks the fit, if you are strong enough to refuse to buy after fitting!

Distance selling regulations mean you can return a product from a website or catalogue etc. within seven days if you decide you don't want it and get a full refund (as long as you haven't used it or marked it so don't let them wear them if they don't fit properly).

Do not buy second hand - the shoes will have been shaped by the previous owner's foot and will damage your child's growing feet.

Tbh I'd save money on everything else first rather than not get shoes properly fitted.
