The best thing is a baby shaped sponge from Tesco, John lewis or sainsburys. Make sure it is warmed first with water and gives good support for baby and leaves both hands free.

The floating one looks dangerous!
I loved the bucket shaped baby bath (they have them in mothercare, but there's lots of diff makes). Expensive, so get second hand though. I love it so much we kept it for storing bath toys now They're such a nice shape, and ds2 loved being in it.

I was a bit unsure about the floating one. Liked the deck chair type, have also looked at the bucket ones. Are they easy to use, is it easy to hold them while they are in the bucket andwash them. I have a wriggler here.

Well, they cant wriggle far in there Easy to hold under the arms due to their upright position.

I really like the shaped type of bath support baby sits in semi upright and you can wash them handsfree, ds loved his. I'm hopeless at links, but you can buy a white one in mothercare or blue one in blooming marvellous.

I used for all 3 of my children, a foam shape that baby lays on.

Was really good.

Think i paid about £7 from mothercare.

just lie him down in big bath - that's what i did.

i have used this with the two dds - in fact hunted everywhere in Aus for one to buy as I loved it with dd1. It has been dug out of the cupboard for no3 baby when they arrive in Mar.

here

easy to hang over taps to dry when finish and takes up very little room. Just need a little water and ready to go.

i did dd2's tummy time on it as well as she hated being on her tummy but loved being able to lie on her tummy on that and splash about.

Don't go for the floating one - they are rubbish - had one but always felt my daughter was going to sink on the couple of occasions I used it. The other type that elevates them slightly is much better - we have a plastic moulded one - definitely one of the best baby buys even if I did have to buy a rubbish version before hitting the jackpot with the one we have now.
