What is the best bike for a two year old?

DD will be two in February and is mad about bikes - points them out wherever we go and gets terribly excited. Am thinking of buying some kind of bike for her second birthday. She's physically adept and energetic, about average in height and loves to walk everywhere. I have a wooden likeabike thing I got for ds but he couldn't manage it at all (dyspraxia) and it is too big for dd. Should I get her a tricycle with a parent handle? A little bike with stabilisers? What have other people got that is the right size for a two year old, that they can manage and, ideally, looks cute and stylish, please!

We had a triang trike for our kids when they were 2..it has a parent handle, but also has the ability to lock the handlebars and dis-engage the pedals so they don't go flying round when you push (and so dd can't steer herself in to walls when you push).

Ds loved it and graduated to a Rayleigh ollie when he was 4...Dd on the other hand, was climbing onto ds's ollie at about 18months and could move it about..hardly used the trike and has just got an Apollo Molly for Christmas. (Apollo is halford's own brand) - so based on my dd I would say go straight for the little bike with stabilisers - even when dd gets tired I can pull her home using the handlebars without much strain. We chose the molly because it was pink, frilly and only 30 pounds in halfords xmas sale..it is very small and dd (who is on the small side) could have fitted it a year ago.

I shall google Apollo Molly this instant! Thank you.

Ooh, the Raleigh Molly Trike looks lovely - very pink! And not expensive either.
