[MrsB drops festive Starmix all down her jumper at the sight of their prices]

good lord, £545 for a chest of drawers?

The bed prices might be reasonable if they sleep in it for 20 years then you put it in the spare room for another 20, or if you really hand furniture on in an inherited-heirloom fashion...

but do remember that Ikea are about to start doing online shopping...

NappiesGalooooooooooooria · 30/12/2006 22:58

the prices are a little, um, yeah. but it does look jolly lovely, no?? i know, it would want to at that price...

as far as i can tell, ikea dont do bunks. whats that all about then?

There's 11 bunk beds on my page...

QuootiepieTheNewYearsAss · 30/12/2006 23:08

o- that's ok!

brimfull · 30/12/2006 23:08

ooh that looks good

MrsBadger · 30/12/2006 23:11

if you're looking for sturdy bunks, both Flexa and Stompa are pretty good (and a bit more reasonably priced) - if you Google you'll find a bunch of discount stockists.

JL have some quite nice ones, and I've also linked to these people before for low-priced white-painted bunks.

NappiesGalooooooooooooria · 30/12/2006 23:19

how very useful you are mrsB

dp a bit of a furniture snob and has said no ikea stuff (yes, hes being a dick about this i know. i like ikea, he thinks ikea=cheap=crap. no neccessarily so i say.)
thats not to say i will listen to him, but if he wants to spend more, who am i to argue??

oh, and if your max price really is the £1k on the Children's Furniture Co, you may also be interested in these ones, the GLTC ones, and/or the Aspace range.

NappiesGalooooooooooooria · 30/12/2006 23:29

yes have been looking at Aspace. nice stuff too.

that nursery window place is on walton street i think - yes, much more in line with the pretentious sort of thing dps ex would buy (and hes been conditioned by her. dont worry, im unconditioning him) and despite their snobby nobbishness, its only made of pine! could get that a damn sight cheaper...

gltc ones are just the same ones you can get on loads of sites, i think.

kiddiebeds site nice - lots there.

you know, funnily enough, my inner hippy says to just fill one half of the room with mattresses and throw down some duvets and let them all sleep wherever they like... but dp's inner hippy... doesnt exist he says stuff about 'drafts' and 'they need a space of their own' blah blah blah
