I had a Mr Man one from M & S last year which was fine but uninspirational. They have a similar one again this year but I was looking for something different. Anyone?

There is an excellent on in Lakeland. It isn't very inspirational to look at, but each month has a pocket that you can use to store appointment cards, invitations, directions, birthday cards for the month etc. Bloody great if you lose things as easiliy as I do

could this be any good

Never used one but I like the look of them...

Lucycat · 28/12/2006 17:56

I bought one for £3 in tesco's today, it has 5 columns and you can see the whole month at a time - oh and plenty of room to write in the boxes.

There are quite a few here . Not sure any of them are wildly inspiring but at least it's a choice of sorts. Have you seen but rejected all the dodo pad/organised mom type ones?

foxtrot · 28/12/2006 17:59

lol dances - i am the (not so) proud owner of a mr man one for 2007 - but as it was pressie from BIL i will have to use it!

danceswithreindeer · 28/12/2006 18:01

Ooh, thank you everyone! I couldn't find the one in Lakeland online Martian Bishop hmmmm...maybe a trip to bluewater is NEEDED (ahem)
I have heard of the dodopad/organised mum ones but haven't seen them, I'll google 'em.

Dodopad is apparently as available as the actual dodo but the organised mum one looks just what I need - love the list on the side idea, I always have bits of paper with lists on all over the place which I of course can't find when I need them

So tell me batters why is the dodopad so good?

OP posts:
foxtrot · 28/12/2006 19:02

i had dodopad this year, plenty of space (week to view, 5 columns) but TBH i didn't find the jokey bits very funny - would've preferred some nice pictures[granny emoticon!] (and next year i will have Mr Tickle and friends[hmmm])

LOL batters - i havn't doodled because mine is the one that hangs on the wall and my pen always runs out of ink before i can finish writing. MrMan one has a 'wipe clean' memo bit with felt tip pen - i give it a week before it goes walkabout
