Mamas & Papas Twin Aria

Any comments on this pushchair?

Am considering Graco Duosport or M & P Aria twin pushchairs and am wondering what the feedback is on the M & P pushchair?

I live in a village and the shops have pretty narrow doorways but I don't want a tandem and I want a pushchair that is going to handle fairly rough terrain pretty well but don't want a three wheeler as too big for my car.

Fussy, moi?

TIA

A friend has the M&P Aria, she bought it last year when she had her second baby her first only being 18m so decided to get it as its very light to push two little ones around in town, but a year on she complains of it hurting her back and much harder to push as her ds is 21/2 now and so much bigger and heavier than when she first got it, she finds it hard to steer in shops especially to turn it down isles

i think a phil & ted would suit you better they fold up really small why do you not want a tandem

The Aria is really flimsy and wobbly so probably isn't very suitable for rough terrain. It's also very low to the ground and the seats are narrow so not good if you've got a biggish toddler.

i have a clio..... boot full to the brim of rubbish (actually important things that need to be in boot ) and i can get a phil and teds in the boot no problem at all

it folds up quite small

could fit it in a much smaller boot in a much smaller car

I don't want a tandem because I want baby to be able to see where they are going as well as DD. Ditto for the P & T, am not convinced it will be great when the baby gets bigger and I really don't want to spend that much on a pushchair I will use for 18 months max.

I had an Aria and it fell apart after 3 months and I found it really hard to push, getting my phil & ted made life so easy.

i liked my aria, but agree with the fact it can be very heavy with a large toddler.

havent used mine for months and months now because Jessica is walking (2.5yrs) most places.

If I could do it again, I would go for a p&t without a doubt.

(saying that the m&p is in my shed still for when number 3 arrives if Becky is still too young to walk everywhere......)
