Bedding for toy cot

Anyone know anywhere that sells bedding for toy cots? I bought DD1 a 2nd hand white wooden crib on rockers for a Xmas present and it just dawned on me that it's bare. Some people would whip up some beddign with their own fair hands but I can't sew a name tag in a jumper so.... As the crib is 2nd hand I wan't the bedding to look half decent. Any ideas who'd sell this sort of thing?

have a look on ebay and see if ther is any cheap crib or moses basket bedding on therem then even if it is a bit big, it wont matter.

Thanks corrina - Yeah that's an idea but moses basket stuff will be too big. Anyone know of anywhere else that sells beddign for toy cots?

what about a pillowcase and then fold it over under neath?

wonderweb and cut down a cot size fleece blanket (if you had one) - iron wonderweb to seal any edges.

I can probably put my hands on a couple of blankets my mum made for dd's first pram - FC is bringing a baby annabell cot with lots of bedding so won't be needing them anymore. Bear with me as they are in the bottom of a box somewhere - should find them as having a bit of a pre-FC clearout this weekend.

I'd gladly knit a little blanket for it, TC- just let me know the size and colour preference Ikea used to do nice little dolls' quilt and pillowcase sets, don't know if they still do though.

Arrrrrrrrr Tamum, that's the nicest offer ever. Wow! Don't know what to say. Are you sure, isn't that the most grief, and just before xmas, you must have a million things to do and I don't want to add to your 'things to do list'.

Hmmmm I might need to go to Ikea anyway after xmas so will check that out if I go.

No of course not, I'd be happy to! No grief at all, and I have stacks of wool. What do you think she'd like best? I have some deepish pink and some bright mixed colour wool, or cream cotton, just say what you think. It would be a pleasure (especially for Lottie )

TEEstheCEEsontobejolly · 09/12/2006 21:16

Really, really truly, wow, thank you so much.
Ummm well if you're really sure, a dark pink one would be fab, just really skinny and quite short.
So kind of you it really is

TEEstheCEEsontobejolly i dont mind knitting you some blankets if you would like.

TEEstheCEEsontobejolly · 10/12/2006 07:35

What a kind and lovely lot you are.
Corrina, bless your heart, I massively appreciate that I really do but I won't be greedy, Tamum is knitting it one and I'll cut up an old sheet or something and cobble together a mattress and a pillow somehow. Wish I was as clever as you lot, must be lovely to need somethinga and think ohh I'll just make it and be able to! I'm more than rubbish with no imagination how to even go about it!
Thanks again for your kind offer
