it is soooo fantastic.

has 25 doors behind which lie little wooden thingies (of a christmas nature) that ds will be able to hang on the little hooks around the big father Christmas in the middle.

it is so lovely.

am v v pleased with it, and there were a few left ladies....

i'll never need to buy an advent calendar again...huzzah!

I'm ancient (45) and as far as I'm concerned Advent calendars have always had 24 doors. I can remember feeling cheated and asking why this was - of course the explanation being that Jesus was born during the night of Christmas Eve.
What about those ones around the year 2000 that carried on with a countdown to the New Year? What's that got to do with Advent?
