Nintendo Wii, anyone managed to find somewhere that will dispatch in time for xmas?

I can't find anyone that will guarantee Christmas delivery, anyone got any bright ideas?

It's not even released until 8th December and yet seems to have sold out on pre orders alone. Any bright ideas appreciated. Thanks.

ordered one form argos a couple of weeks ago, arrived this morning - it's to be shared amongst my 4 so feel ok about the cost. They will be soo excited, I keep telling them you can't get them for love or money, and they have been agreeing with me - tee hee, hope I can keep my gob shut until the 25th

Amazon are supposed to get them here by today. My son went on line at midnight I think the day they would be ordered and kept hitting refresh and got one. 7 minutes later they were all gone. There was just that 7 minute window he said to get one. It is supposedly coming today and he's back from university to get it.... shared with his brothers too. I hope the b loody thing does come given how excited they are about it. He called Amazon a few days ago and they were still on target to deliver. Losh that's lovely. As my older son is 18 it's harder to keep up that suspense and they seem to be getting it before the day which actually I don't mind as it spreads presents out and makes 25th not quite so stressful and everything at once.

the 8th of december was d day for all the sites and stores but i think there has been a back off.

My DH pre-ordered from GAME and has just collected it. He was told if you havent pre-ordered you wont get one before xmas now.

Just thought I'd mention that in the newspaper yesterday Toys R Us were advertising that delivery would be in their stores today on a first come first served basis. HTH

www - when yo uordered your did it say not sure about stock levels so cant confirm but took all your card details. thats what happened to me yesterday for a black ds lite - it had been out of stock for ages - hope i have same luck as you. thanks

mysonmummy, on the Argos site it said they were getting a second Wii allocation and accepted my cash, saying it would be delivered on the 8th. I reckon Argos commit their stock the minute they do that so if it was Argos I reckon you'd be ok.
