Chicco Winter London Stroller

has anyone got one?
Is it good for a newborn?
I'm contemplating getting one for my next baby due at the beginning of winter, and I can't think about using dd's old Aria puschair as I hated it so much, but don't want to spend an awful lot of money, as this may well be my last baby.

Any comments appreciated!!!

My friend bought one for her dd, when her dd was about 4 months old. Her dd is now 15 months and the pushchair collapsed last week, it was out of warranty so she's had to buy a new one. So no, can't say I'd really recommend it !

if i was in your situation then i would personnel go for the maclaren vogue as it has a head hugger with it and personelly look more padded for a new born it is a little dearer than a chicco but i think it will last longer as it seems more stable.

kiddicare

have one for £89.99

I'm surprised about the Chicco collapsing, I've had a Chicco and I thought it was quite good....I've considered the maclaren, but I've got one at the moment and I absolutely hate the brakes, they're hard to put on and then they don't stay on....I'd prefer to be able to rely on them as I'll to look after dd1 and the baby and whatever I'm doing, can't wprry about the brakes coming off at the same time!!

does it have to umbrella folding? Graco and mothercare do some basic pushchairs at good prices, as do argos/index etc?

i just bought a chicco winter for dd who is 18 months,it doesnt lie totally flat but is very comfy and cosy.I only had it a week and sold it to my friend as dd wouldnt sleep in it cause it doesnt lie flat enough.Mothercare have a samba which lies flat and is also £70,the same price as the chicco winter stroller, this was the one is was originally going to get but they didnt have any in store.

I wouldn't put a newborn in it, but that's me. BA gave it to us when they lost ds's pushchair for a week. He was 5 months and I only just considered him big enough for it.

I live in NZ where we have massive strollers though.

It's now relegated for swimming duty and that's it.

I would prefer umbrella strollers, I'm not a big fan of the others, and I was looking at this one, because for the price you got raincover, footmuff, etc lots of extras!

Mothercare for pushchairs has never appealed to me much, but I will look at the samba.
