Anyone have any ideas? The table is varnished not waxed, have tried bicarb and damp cloth, but the crayon is dark blue and the colour won't budge.

Could you do the candlewax trick - kitchen roll on the crayon, then iron?

Not that I've tried it, I have to admit!

Is there anything on the crayola stain removal website ?
They usually tell you to use wd40 (probably own it or something) but it got the crayon off my telly when our own budding artist coloured it orange.
Also, try babywipes - they shift nearly anything (except biro from wallpaper unfortunately).
