I need some hints and tips. How do you actually use it? Can you give me an example of what you actually have written/stuck on a particular busy day.

I have got school stickers, family stickers (I think - the shapes ones), and the general stickers.

I've had a go at writing out December, but it's not really working for me. So I need some expert advice.

gtlc one

This one only has one week on show at a time, can't decide if that is bad or good though.

popsycal · 24/11/2006 18:54

i have thought about redering one
but i just used free prnted sheets that you can put photos on from
calendarsthatwork,com

LadyTophamHatt · 24/11/2006 18:58

I got one last yr and still need to contact trading standards about it.

It did not make me an organised mum and it clearly say it would.

I have a a virtual full set of stickers still to be used because it failed to do what it said on the packet.

(anyone want the stickers BTW??)

nutcracker · 24/11/2006 19:00

I agree with LTH, mine didn't make me organised at all, I mean I went to ds's parents meeting on the wrong day

LadyTophamHatt · 24/11/2006 19:02

Shall we sue them together, Nutty??

Organised mum......my arse??

nutcracker · 24/11/2006 19:04

Yep i think we should LTH, most definatly.

I had someone admiring my draft excluder yesterday by the way

LadyTophamHatt · 24/11/2006 19:12

someone...what...just one person??

Not a whole gang of people clambering over each other to have a look??

nutcracker · 24/11/2006 19:14

ROFL

I have shown it to everyone who has come round, although thats not many people. I do get quite odd looks from people who knock the door when they see it pop out from round the side of the door LOL.

TheHighwayCod · 24/11/2006 19:25

you need ot make an effort oe b organised lth
it s like beliveing in God - its nto easy

LadyTophamHatt · 24/11/2006 19:32

I believe in cod, will that do??

LadyTophamHatt · 24/11/2006 19:40

Actually i have already made effort to be more organised next yr.
Not only have I already bought a calender which is a shock in itself but I've asked my cousins wife to fill it in for me.

She never forgets any birthday, anniversaies or all those other spacial dates I should remeber.
Once shes done that all I have to do it fill in the stuff just for us...so that will make my life 1000 easier.

Shall I tell you what birthdays I forgot this year?

My sister, my BIL, my neice, my step nephew, my SIL, my nephew....and worst of all my MUM!!!

My brothers and nieces B;day are in december and i'm very pleased with myself that I'm remebering them ATM.

snowbird · 24/11/2006 19:42

I've just got myself this one I was seduced by the shopping list pad!

roisin · 24/11/2006 19:47

I think if you're very busy in an unpredictable kind of a way you really need a calendar in columns.

Well I've just got my Organised Mum weekly planner and think it is fab..

Apart from DH choking on his wine when he saw the words organised mum, and wanted to know if it comes with some magic potion, I like it so there...

Money well spent - although of course i haven't actually started to use it yet, so guess jury still out....

Overrunnerbean · 24/11/2006 20:45

use a 5 column family planner from RSPB if any one is interested it works, and you get to do your bit for Albatrosses

NotAnOtter · 24/11/2006 20:46

like a bit of art if it has to be on my wall all year!!!

hulababy · 24/11/2006 21:28

I have been using the diary (the A5 big one) for past couple f months and like it. I didn't get the calender as I wanted seperate columns for each of us.

ssd · 24/11/2006 21:37

opened your link back there cod and was just waiting for the bat....

calendar very tame in comparison...

xena · 24/11/2006 21:40

I need a 6 column family planner and haven't seen one anywhere! Keep being tempted by the diary in that link though

xena - Here you design your own calendar and it can have up to 6 colummns. I had one made for us, after Beetroot's recommendation. Came quickly and it is really good.

xena · 24/11/2006 22:03

They are great hula and you can upload your own photos!

hulababy · 24/11/2006 22:05

You can Beetroot was the one who first pointed them out - ours is great and so useful!

xena · 24/11/2006 22:09
