Yet another buggy/stroller thread - should I buy a Maclaren Ryder or M&P Pulse?

My lightweight stroller has just broken and I need another to keep in the car for short trips and for holidays.

Narrowed it down to the above two - am slightly swayed towards the Ryder but only because it has a viewing window (my main pram is rear-facing and I'm used to being able to see dd). Wondering if this is a daft reason to spend more money though (it's about £30 dearer). I know Popsy and Misdee have/had the Ryder - any drawbacks?

Any opinions please?

I Currently have 3 pushchairs and the Ryder is by far my favourite. The only downside I would say,is the virtually non existant shopping basket, but then again most lightweight strollers are like that.hth

Ah - not bothered too much about a shopping basket. If it's a major shopping expedition I take my Xplory which has a huge basket!

Anyone else?

The seat doesn't recline as much on the ryder, I went for the pulse as it lays almost flat and as it was bought for using on holiday ds needed to be able to sleep well in it.

I have a ulse and it does almost lay flat, but you cannot access shopping basket at all when seat is reclined! That seems to be the only problem!
