Does anyone manage their finances on their PCs with a software package?

I've got a knackered old PC and when I first had it I installed a programme called Quicken on it and I've got all my accounts etc on it and all the direct debits so I know where I am (not on-line, just on my PC). I've now upgraded to a laptop and wanted to get something similar but it is all probably more sophisticated than it was. Just wondered what everyone else used.

I use excel spreadsheets. My finances arent so complicated that I need anything else. Money comes in , Money goes out, Im still broke

I know how you feel, but it's nice to now how broke isn't it, or is it .

My finances are complicated either but this little package I had automatically updates your account when the direct debits are due and that kind of thing. And you can make little pie charts and graphs seeing where you've spent all your money . Quite depressing really come to think of it, maybe a spreadsheet is the way to go.

My husband does most of it but we use Microsoft Money. I think it took him a little bit of getting set up and getting to know but it is quite useful. Once you get all the info into it it is possible to look at how much you spend monthly etc on different things, it also reminds you of when payments are due. It can probably do lots more but haven't used it much myself.

Another vote for MS Money here. Its a good package easy to use package.
