la redoute and vertbudet have more unusual stuff but their sizing is often small small so order w big size too as its the same postage cost and its free to send bac. I like hennes too. Someome posted an interesting french site recently. I'll see if I can find it

alex8 · 11/11/2006 19:30

vertbaudet I meant

This is the site someone posted

www.dpam.com

DizzyBint · 11/11/2006 19:39

thanks alex.

anyone else got any favourites i might not have thought of?

i seem to just be getting dd the same clothes but in the next size up every couple of months.

bloody hell

how many clothes does a 6 month old need?

buy a lovely snowsuit and then they can wear tescos white sleepsuits all day underneath it

Enid · 11/11/2006 19:40

but if you must, then boden and gap are good

alex8 · 11/11/2006 19:42

monsoon? Ridiculously expensive though.

I liked to trawl through the charity shops. Got some fab stuff virtually unworn and brands I had never heard of.

fennel · 11/11/2006 19:42

I like H&M for girls. Not as pink/lilac and pastel as most places.

Pinkchampagne · 11/11/2006 19:42

I second vertbaudet, but agree that the clothes come up very small.
I buy my DS's clothes from: Gap, Debenhams, vertbaudet, monsoon & very occasionally (& only in the sale) Boden.

foxinsocks · 11/11/2006 19:43

primark are fine at that age

Pinkchampagne · 11/11/2006 19:43

Wait for the monsoon sale & you can get a lot of stuff with 75% off.

DizzyBint · 11/11/2006 19:44

enid it's just cos she's growing so fast, she doesn't have much at all. as soon as she grows out of what she has i just get her tha same stuff in next size up. i'm looking for 12month old stuff now. ebay is peeing me off too.

Next, Tesco, Primark, Monsoon, H&M, BHS, M&S, Adams .... pretty much anywhere that sells them.

pipo · 11/11/2006 19:55

I shop at Asda, Ethel Austin and charity shops, and accept any hand-me-downs offered by friends/relatives. DS is always covered in felt-tip pen or dog hair or breakfast (and I am) so I'm not really bothered about what he wears.

cazzybabs · 11/11/2006 19:56

Boden and fatface - both most of these are 2 years +

Enid · 11/11/2006 19:58

boden do a lot of 6-12 months clothes - I know boden is a bit wanky but the kdis clothes are really worth the money

brimfull · 11/11/2006 20:02

primark and h&m,got ds a fleece for £2.00 yesterday in primark!
H&M brilliant for boys stuff.

lucy5 · 11/11/2006 20:04

Usually H&M as I don't really like Spanish kids clothes as they can be a bit fussy.

BIGlilBUBU · 11/11/2006 20:10

I think debenhams has some really nice things. Theres a shop I like in guilford called daisy something, I cant remember the name. I'll try and find out for you.

DizzyBint · 11/11/2006 20:12

you have reminded me of a few places i haven't tried so thank you!

Ebay. Lots of variety, some bargains, and if you stick to the secondhand stuff you are helping the environment. Charity shops too.

Pinkchampagne · 11/11/2006 20:16

Is it Daisy & Tom's?

munz · 11/11/2006 20:18

I use, MN, next, asda, tescos, the unsual high streets, have brought from argos additonns - sizes are v small I found hennes is good - DB/SIL buy from there for the boy.

BIGlilBUBU · 11/11/2006 20:20

Thats it..Daisy and Tom's. Thanks . Some nice things in there. It is abit pricy though, but worth a look.

DizzyBint · 11/11/2006 20:21

i do like h&m, they do lots of cool stuff that's not as pink and frilly as a lot of other shops do. i'm hating things with slogans at the moment, seem to be everywhere. i seem to like boys clothes better than girls clothes.

nappyaddict · 27/11/2006 02:55

i do next, mothercare, zara, adams, pumpkin patch and the ones not on your list H&M, boots, disney shop.
