I'm after a cheap but reliable buggy/pram, has to lay back as boy likes sleeping in the pram when we go out tot tots/walking the dogs etc, needs to be good off road as it were (walk the dogs in a wooded area) small for the boot, light and also easy to manoover - ooh also DH is 6'3 i'm 5'2 so needs to be nott oo high for me but not too small for him iycwim. looking to spend more more than about £100 (provided of course I can sell my old one)

also would want it to be quite well padded/cosytotes and snug looking etc.

any thoughts?

ok, for a price range of about £100, you'd be hard pushed to get a small folding rear facing buggy.

but a good one, is the i'coo infinity (around £100 on ebay, footmuff extra)

rear facing - doens't have to be that, our current one is forward facing. does that make any differnce?

sorry, read it wrong, thought u wanted rear facing,

infinity is still good but big. mountain buggies are good, but again quite big.

I have Aria from Mamas and Papas, which, though looking much heavier, is only 5 Kgs (11lb) and lies quite a lot, my dd sleeps very comfortably in it. My dh is as tall as your dh and likes it. Pros: light, parent tray, very well padded, confortable handle, more stable than other buggies, lockable front and rear wheels -I never used the front wheel lock-. Cons: it folds decently, but cannot be folded with only one hand, nor it folds like an umbrella; less stable than a mountain buggy. I got it on offer from Argos for £80 including footmuff, raincover, and a bag; the normal price is £100 to 120. You could try it in a store like Mamas and Papas with your child and then decide. The lightest buggy I have seen is the Maclaren Volo, 3.9 Kg, but does not recline. Maclaren also makes other interesting models, you can check their weights and dimensions online, if I remember correctly, and try them in a Morthercare store. Hope this helps!
